It has been a long cold winter but that all changed this past weekend. It is 56 today and the snow is disappearing fast. The lower stretch of the river is still ice covered but it isn't going to last long. The warm temps and heavy runoff are going to start drawing good numbers of steelhead into the river. The weather has prevented much fishing on the river so the fish that have been trickling up this winter haven't been pestered. We have some excellent fishing ahead of us.
