Manistee, Michigan is consistently one of the most productive ports on the Great Lakes from spring to fall. We have two river systems, the Big and Little Manistee. Both rivers produce the majority of natural fish that enter Lake Michigan, and in addition the rivers recieve supplemental plants of salmon and trout.
The proximity of Manistee offers great structure, just 3 miles offshore, we have a sharp drop off, this steep sheer sets up an area which holds fish all year long. This is one reason Manistee Michigan is home to many fishing tournaments and state records.
