Wow - Winter really hit Manistee County this year with lots of snow, cold temps and high winds. The weather has finally improved and it looks like we have a great season of fishing ahead of us. Winter fishing on the Big Manistee is a beautiful and unique experience. The steelhead are a blast and the winter scenery can't be beat. Manistee offers a host of other fun winter activities that can be combined with a fishing trip. We have excellent ski and snowmobile trails, ice fishing and a casino to name a few.
