We fished south of the Manistee Harbor in 26-142 feet of water. The water is cold and the fish came from 10 - 25 feet down inshore and down to 40 feet offshore. The bite started for us after the first hint of day light came over the dunes. 5 color lead with the Stinger NBK's & Wonder bread glow spoons in both Magnum and Stinger size went well for the third day in a row. . Plugs produced the fish early on riggers 100 feet back set at 10 & 13 feet. I talked to captains who were fishing out to 275 feet and they had action on spoons in the upper 40'. There were also fish in front of the Harbor at first light.
